For job postings with close dates, applications will be reviewed by a screening committee after close. Our recruiting team will then reach out to candidates to schedule interviews with the hiring committee. On average, this process can take up to two weeks after a job posting closes. You’re more than welcome to reach out to us at careers@polk.edu for an update, but we ask that you wait until after the close date of the posting to follow up. It gives us a better chance of having reviewed the applications.

The length of the interview will be confirmed during scheduling. If any additional tasks are required, the duration will be extended so you’ll have enough time for questions.
Recruiting Policies
If you are a veteran, in order to receive the Veteran’s Preference benefit for eligible positions, you must submit a DD-214 and/or other supporting documentation with your application. Please note that this preference is not applicable for Professors and Administration level positions.
